Back to a much more recent show this week, although the subject matter and presentation focused on writing from the Bard himself. The themes may be as old as Ancient Greece, but the modern trials and tribulations are still the stuff of high drama and low comedy, as they should be. Buy a ticket and settle down in your seat for a rarity: a show that was actually designed to be short-lived, but long-remembered.
And every single one is, by turns, a hilarious and poignant love letter to the theatre.
“If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction.”
The best part? This is just the first six episodes!!!
…the worlds of theatre and television come together, but in a way that can preserve the best of both…
Time, sweat, and frustration are all part of the process…
Know your lines, check your props, and get ready for the curtain. Performance will be this Friday @ 8/7 Central.
