A little romance, a little mystery, a little murder… in a show that was nominated for almost as many Emmy Awards as it had episodes. One of the best casts in recent memory, in one of the most unusual shows ever aired. Of course it died, but then, death isn’t anything really permanent, now is it? Five quotes:
It refers to Shakespeare’s use of the phrase in Hamlet (Act III, Scene I) and the famous “To be, or not to be” soliloquy.
“Kiss her or keep her? We make choices and we live with the consequences.”
“I had shelves and shelves of action figures in my bedroom that scared away more dates than I care to admit to.”
Here was a show about death, yet presented in a way that was more beautiful and vivid than real life.
There is still a way for dreams to come true. There is still hope for amazing things.
Take a minute and join me for a colorful trip through a quirky, strange, and wondrous world of love, death, some music, and an ever-so-light touch of whimsy, this week on Friday @ 8/7 Central.
