Network Promo: Coming Friday, March 4

Item:  The discovery of an unusual series brought forth the beginnings of a specific genre of show.

Item:  What you saw may have been fantastic, but no one would ever really find out the truth… except for one man.

Item:  Five quotes:

He was cynical about much of the world, yet owned a soft heart for innocents beneath a well-worn (and well-earned) crusty exterior.

“I’ve seen more corpses than you’ve eaten TV dinners.”

(often seen with him at the typewriter, transcribing notes he’d made on his ever-present tape recorder)

“There’s nothing scary on network television anymore.  Let’s do a scary show.”

The first episode of the series uses a TEN MINUTE stretch near the climax of action and suspense completely uninterrupted by dialogue AT ALL…

Would you believe me if I told you the facts of what really happened all those years ago?  Perhaps.  Perhaps not.  I’ll leave it for you to decide.  Read the story this week on Friday @ 8/7 Central.

Ooh, I *know* where I’ve seen a parody of this one. Five minutes research and I’ll have it, for a change.
